Crochet Ladder Vest Top
This pretty Summer vest top is perfect as a beach cover up, or over a vest to wear with shorts or jeans.

XS – Centre front length 44cm, Hem width 47cm, bust 5cm down from armhole 35cm, Front neck drop 22cm.
S – Centre front length 45cm, Hem width 52cm, bust 5cm down from armhole 39cm, Front neck drop 24cm
M - Centre front length 46cm, Hem width 57cm, bust 5cm down from armhole 44cm, Front neck drop 26cm
L - Centre front length 47cm, Hem width 62cm, bust 5cm down from armhole 49cm, Front neck drop 28cm
Pattern is written for XS with other sizes in brackets.
3mm hook, sport weight cotton yarn – suggested yarn Yarn & Colors Favorite, 100% Cotton, 50g (1.8oz)
Size XS – 4 balls
Size S - 5 balls
Size M – 6 balls
Size L – 7 balls
Gauge 10 sts x 4.5 rows in treble stitch = 5cm square. If your gauge is too small use a bigger hook, if it’s too big use a smaller hook.
Stitches used Dc – Double Crochet UK, (sc in US) insert hook in next st, yarn over, pull through work, yarn over pull through both loops on hook.
Tr – Treble UK (dc in US) Yarn over, insert hook in next st, yarn over, pull through work, 3 loops on hook, yarn over pull through 2 loops, yarn over pull through last 2 loops on hook.
Dtr – Double Treble UK (tr in US) Yarn over twice, insert hook in next st, yarn over, pull through work, yarn over pull through 2 loops, yarn over pull through 2 loops, yarn over pull through 2 last 2 loops on hook.
Ttr – Triple Treble UK (dtr in US) Yarn over 3 times, insert hook in next st, yarn over, pull through work, yarn over, pull through 2 loops, yarn over pull through 2 loops, yarn over pull through 2 loops, yarn over, pull through last 2 loops on hook.
